Prospective Master’s Degree Students

If you are interested in pursuing a Master degree in Mathematics in our Program, you must have an undergraduate degree in Mathematics or any related area.

Program Requirements

Students enrolled in our Program are expected to spend the equivalent of at least two years, and at most three years, in full-time study. The minimum program requirements are 30 credits, which means roughly taking 8 courses. The student must also pass a Qualifying Examination, which is a series of tests on Algebra, Analysis and Topology, pass a test showing English reading proficiency and produce a Master Dissertation that must be approved by an examination Committee.
